The Number of Passengers Boarding at Shibuya Station
The aggregate number of passengers using Shibuya Station on the trains operated by JR or the private railways operated by Tokyu Corporation, Keio Corporation and Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd., has shown a steady upward trend in recent years.In year ended March 31, 2009, approximately 1.55 million people boarded at Shibuya Station per day, as indicated in the following chart.
